The scholarships being awarded are:

  • Undergraduate Widening Participation Scholarship;
  • Postgraduate Masters Widening Participation Scholarship.

A small number of scholarships will be awarded from the funds available, and may include undergraduate awards, postgraduate awards or both.

Tuition fees will not be included in the Undergraduate scholarship as these will be paid by the Student Awards Agency Scotland (SAAS), but tuition fees will be included in the Postgraduate and PhD scholarships. Living costs for all scholarships will be paid up to the amount stated.

If you are eligible for additional SAAS funding due to your circumstances, whether it be a bursary or a loan, you are still eligible to apply for the Widening Participation Scholarships.

Applications will be reviewed by a panel, which may take data from your UCAS application into consideration.

Successful applicants will only be awarded scholarships on completion of full enrolment and meeting the terms and conditions of the scholarship.

Whilst normally students will be supported for the normal duration of their studies, this is at the donor’s discretion and subject to satisfactory performance and attendance.
